NFL Free Agents that could suprise

DE Jared Allen

Input: To the people who say Jared Allen is nothing more than a 3rd down pass rusher are clueless. Yes Jared Allen is old (31 years old) but Jared recorded 11.5 sacks last season. So could he drop off? Definitely. But Jared is still a top defensive player and could be a bargain.

Contract value: 3 yr 20 million

2014 prediction stats: 46 tackles, 10 sacks and 3 forced fumbles.

TE Scott Chandler

Input: Scott Chandler is never going to wow anyone, I know. He’s never going to be a Pro Bowler, I know. HOWEVER, Scott is not bad ether. In fact, Scott is pretty productive. Scott racked up 655 receiving yards with a good 12 yards a catch last year. He played better then more known names such as Brandon Pettigrew or Fred Davis. And he is only 28 years old. For a team like Kansas City that lacks any talent at T.E, Scott could be a bargain. His height (6-7) is also a another plus.

Contract value: 4 yr, 18 million

2014 prediction stats: 63 catches, 659 yards and 7 touchdowns.

WR/RS Jacoby Ford

Input:  Jacoby Ford has practically disappeared in the past two years, however Jacoby could be a steal. Jacoby has blazing speed and has 4 return touchdowns. He has fumbled 4 times but that can be fixed. Jacoby might not even do anything but the potential is there. He is also 26 years old. HUGE sleeper pickup.

Contract value: 1 yr, 1 million

2014 prediction stats: 20 catches, 388 yards and 2 return touchdowns.
